about

Invocation is a revisiting of past works in search of fresh life and new meaning.

"Gone (Redux)" compiles excerpts of Dobson's steel and acoustic playing from an old recording session and re-imagines them as a juxtaposition peaceful reflection and aural destruction.

"Quiet, Invocation" is inspired and derived from Dobson's 2022 MMus thesis project, an immersive composition designed to reach audiences in their homes during COVID-19 lockdowns.
